Updates

This release is about refining Zap's features to have an MVP. We removed all experimental features and focused on improving core functionalities, performance improvements, and fixing bugs.

We refactored Zap's UI. The apps library now has a new look. We also introduced a small bar at the base of the dock; when you hover on it expands or collapses the dock.

Spaces

Zap allows you to group apps you frequently use into Spaces; you can have up to 10 Spaces.

You can switch between Spaces using hotkeys; when the Zap dock is visible and expanded, press 'j' to switch to the next Space and 'k' to switch to the previous Space. A mini view will appear to the right of your dock that visualizes all your Spaces.

Alternatively, you can use the tray menu to switch between Spaces.

Another method to switch between Spaces is to scroll up or down when the cursor is on the docked apps regions of Zap dock.

Here is a tip. While switching between Spaces a mini view appears to the right of the Zap's dock. You can use this mini view to quickly move to a desired space by scrubing through Spaces using the mini view scoll thumb.
